Mostly using local clay to render our downstairs in our barn, ramped for wheelchairs. We will try fine and coarse finishes, lime and clay washes, and using locally harvested plants to add colour to our walls.

Aimed at all levels of skills.

This week long course in beautiful south Devon will run over Easter 2023, from Wednesday 5th April to Tuesday 11th. There will be visits to 2 other local straw build projects to show you a range of specifications. There will also be dips in the local river and a fireside meal.

Camping onsite is possible for modest fee. We have a disabled-access compost toilet, and a solar powered shower. Attendees are encouraged to “slow-travel” travelling by public or self-powered transport as much as possible. We are smoke-and-drug-free, and a non-drinking site.
