The local Jays keep planting oaks for their future generations, not realising we have already done this for them! So now we have lots of baby oak trees which are in danger of being mown down when we manage the meadow. They have all grown wild and independently so already have the beautiful oak shape which doesn’t happen in most tree nurseries. £10 each (or multiple for cheaper) plus postage or free to a good cause (the more local to us the better).
